Terms of Service — Thisbit
Draft — not legal advice. Generated from a declared profile. Read every line: a policy that describes practices you do not follow is a promise you did not know you made. Have a lawyer review it before you rely on it.

These terms cover your use of thisbit.link, operated by Conor Livingston (California, USA). Using the site means you accept them.
Using the service
Use it lawfully and do not break it — no attempts to gain access you were not given, no overwhelming it with automated traffic, no using it to harm anyone. We may suspend access that does any of these.
What you upload
What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it back to you and to anyone you have shared it with — nothing else. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to, or anything unlawful. We may remove content that breaks this, and will tell you why.
Beta and sharing
Thisbit is currently an invite-only beta. Each account has a separate library, but each screenshot link grants anyone who has it access to that screenshot. Do not capture sensitive information you do not want recipients to see. Only the owner can edit annotations, and they can update them after sharing. Deletion cannot recall copies others have already saved. Retention and deletion practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability
We try to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available. It is provided as-is, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data — see the Privacy Policy. We may end your access if you break these terms, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of California, USA.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. If a change matters, we will make it obvious rather than quietly editing this page.
